Just to the north and east of where the CSX tracks cross busy Lake Mary Boulevard is where the Lake Mary Station is to be located. The land is presently undeveloped but is in a prime location close to Lake Mary Boulevard, municipal buildings and downtown Lake Mary. Additional undeveloped land is available adjacent to the station location for Transit Oriented Development.
A middle class residential neighborhood is east of the site. The police station is across the tracks.
Lake Mary City Hall is west of the station location, and downtown development is planned for the area north and west of the station.
