Central Florida Commuter Rail

What's There Now - A Look At Planned Station Locations

Church Street Station

The new Church Street Commuter Rail Station is planned to be built on the west side of the CSX tracks, just south of the historic Church Street Station, and north of South Street.  The historic Church Street Station was an active rail station from 1889 to 1926, and a ticket outlet and freight station until 1972 when it was made a part of the Church Street Station entertainment complex.

Church Street Station is at the hub of downtown Orlando and will provide convenient access to downtown activities both day and night.

The proposed station location is presently vacant and being used for parking.

Just to the north of Church Street paralleling the tracks is Gertrude's Walk shown in the image to the left.
